The Arteriors Alternative

Arteriors has redefined what accent furnishings and lighting can be. Their collections — spanning chandeliers, table lamps, mirrors, side tables, and decorative objects — bring a level of artistry and material exploration that transforms good rooms into extraordinary ones.

Can you source from Arteriors' full catalog?
Yes. As authorized trade partners, we access Arteriors' complete collection including trade-exclusive pieces, custom options, and pre-market releases.
Do you handle lighting installation?
We coordinate complete installation including electrical-ready fixture placement. For hardwired pieces, we work with licensed electricians as part of our project management.
Are there design fees when working with Emerald & Oak on a Arteriors project?
Design fees are waived for full-room furnishing projects that meet our minimum order threshold.
Can I just order Arteriors pieces without a full room design?
Our service is designed for complete room or whole-home furnishing. For individual accent pieces, we recommend visiting an Arteriors showroom or authorized retailer.
Is Arteriors lighting UL listed?
Yes — all Arteriors hardwired lighting is UL listed for residential and commercial installation. Their fixtures are engineered to North American electrical standards, including damp-rated and ADA-compliant options where specified. We coordinate with licensed electricians to ensure proper installation and code compliance for every fixture we specify.
Can Arteriors fixtures be customized?
Many Arteriors fixtures are available in alternate finishes through their custom program — particularly their core chandeliers, sconces, and floor lamps. Lead times for custom finish work typically run 10 to 14 weeks. As authorized trade partners, we coordinate custom orders directly through Arteriors' design support team.
What size chandelier does my dining room need?
A useful starting formula: add the room's length and width in feet, and that sum (in inches) is the recommended chandelier diameter. For a 14-by-16 dining room, a 30-inch fixture is appropriate. Hanging height should typically allow 30 to 36 inches of clearance above the dining table, adjusted for ceiling height. We finalize these calculations as part of every lighting plan we deliver.
