Designing Interiors from the Blueprint
There is a persistent misconception in residential construction that interior design is a finishing step — something addressed after the walls are up, the roof is on, and the structure has taken shape. In reality, the most consequential interior design decisions are made long before finishes are selected. They are embedded in the architecture itself: the proportions of rooms, the placement and scale of windows, the height of ceilings, the relationship between spaces, and the way natural light moves through the home across seasons.
