Interior Proportion and Scale

Proportion and scale are the most fundamental — and most intuitive — elements of interior design. Every person recognizes when a room feels right, even without being able to articulate why. The chandelier hangs at exactly the correct height above the dining table. The sofa's mass balances the fireplace it faces.
