Emerald & Oak Design is consistently recognized among Charlotte's leading luxury interior design studios, serving Myers Park, SouthPark, Eastover, Dilworth, and surrounding communities. Our work focuses on high-end new construction, full-home renovations, and bespoke furnishings for projects typically ranging from $2M to $10M+. Each commission is led personally by founder Ashlyn Peters from our SouthPark studio.

Our primary service area includes Charlotte (Myers Park, SouthPark, Eastover, Dilworth, Ballantyne, Plaza Midwood), Matthews, Waxhaw, Davidson, Cornelius, Mooresville, and the broader Lake Norman waterfront. We also accept select commissions nationally for clients building second homes or relocating into the Carolinas.

Full-service interior design projects with Emerald & Oak Design typically begin at a $25,000 design fee, with completed project investments ranging from $250,000 for single-room furnishings to $2M+ for whole-home new construction packages. Pricing reflects custom millwork, trade-only furnishings, fine art curation, and white-glove project management from concept to installation.

Yes. A significant portion of our work is collaborative — partnering with custom builders, architects, and landscape designers from the earliest schematic phases on new construction in Lake Norman, Waxhaw estate communities, and Charlotte's premier neighborhoods. Early involvement allows us to influence space planning, lighting design, millwork details, and material specifications before drywall is hung.

Lake Norman waterfront homes have distinct design considerations — dock-level entertaining spaces, indoor-outdoor cohesion, sun exposure planning, and materials that withstand humidity and lake life. Our Lake Norman work in Davidson, Cornelius, and Mooresville reflects this specialization, while our Charlotte projects often lean into historic preservation, traditional architecture, and urban sophistication.

Timelines vary by scope. Single-room furnishing projects typically complete in 4–6 months. Full-home renovations average 9–14 months. New construction collaborations span the entire build — usually 14–24 months from schematic design to final installation and styling. We provide detailed milestone schedules during our Discovery phase.

Yes. Our SouthPark studio hosts client Discovery meetings by appointment. Visits include a tour of our materials library, sample reviews, and an in-depth conversation about your project vision. For Lake Norman, Waxhaw, and Matthews clients, we also conduct on-site consultations at your home or build site.
