How the Studio Works

Emerald & Oak Design is a five-designer studio based at 4401 Barclay Downs Drive in SouthPark. Miriam Peters leads every project personally and remains each client's direct point of contact, from the first conversation through installation, while the studio team supports drawings, selections, procurement and coordination.

The studio's work centers on four kinds of engagement: full-service interior design for whole homes, new construction collaboration with architects and builders from the blueprint stage, furnishing and styling for finished houses, and design consultations for homeowners who want expert direction on a specific decision. Single rooms, furnishing-only projects and consultations are welcome, and every project is scoped individually with a clear written proposal before any commitment.

Completed work featured on this site includes the Highland Forest estate in Charlotte, the Kings Manor residence in Matthews, the Sunset Beach coastal home and the Carmel Road new construction project, where the studio made every interior and exterior selection. View the portfolio.
