Sunset Beach
A coastal interior design project in Brunswick County, North Carolina. The room sequence follows living spaces, the kitchen and quieter rooms through a palette of pale textiles, woven textures and blue-green accents.
## Living room
Pale seating, woven accents and a driftwood-style chandelier beside coastal windows.
The seating group sits beside broad windows, with the kitchen visible beyond. Pale upholstery links the spaces, while woven chairs and the branching chandelier add texture without competing with the view.
## Kitchen
A blue-green island, woven stools, brass pendants and pale cabinetry.
The island provides the room’s strongest colour. Woven stools echo the textures in the living space, while the pale perimeter cabinetry and tiled range wall keep the rest of the composition light.
## Bedroom
A woven headboard, pale bed linen, sage walls and oyster artwork.
The woven headboard sits against a muted sage wall beneath a pair of oyster artworks. Pale linen and the striped rug create a quieter variation on the textures and coastal colours seen in the main rooms.
## Bathroom
A freestanding bath, pale stone surfaces and a sea-glass-coloured pendant.
The pendant introduces a small blue-green accent into an otherwise pale room. A long vanity and mirrored surfaces extend the composition; the separate bath sits near the window.
## Game room
A central game table, upholstered chairs and a beaded chandelier.
The chairs form a compact group around the table. The beaded fixture centres the arrangement, while the windows and pale upholstery keep this more informal room connected to the rest of the home.
