Furnishing & Styling
Professional furnishing and styling transforms empty or outdated spaces into cohesive, designer-level rooms.
Can you work with pieces I already own?
Absolutely. We evaluate existing furnishings with fresh eyes and thoughtfully integrate pieces that serve the new design. Items that no longer contribute are respectfully edited out, and we can assist with consignment or donation.
What is the typical investment for furnishing a home?
Furnishing investment varies widely — from $75,000 for a focused selection of key rooms to $500,000+ for a comprehensive whole-home collection. We provide detailed budgets during the planning phase with full transparency on costs, and we scale selections to your investment comfort.
How long does the furnishing and styling process take?
A typical whole-home furnishing commission spans 4 to 8 months from design approval through final installation, depending on the number of rooms and the proportion of custom versus in-stock pieces.
Do you source vintage and antique pieces?
Yes — and we consider them essential to creating interiors that feel collected rather than catalog-ordered. We source from trusted vintage dealers, estate sales, auction houses, and international antique markets to find pieces with genuine character and provenance.
What happens on installation day?
Our team manages the entire installation — receiving deliveries, placing every piece according to our detailed floor plans, making real-time adjustments, and styling every surface. By the end of the day, your home is complete. You simply walk in.
Is there a minimum project size for furnishing and styling?
Furnishing engagements begin at a $25,000 minimum in furnishings investment, which typically corresponds to one substantial primary room or a pair of connected spaces. Whole-home furnishing programs for new construction are considerably larger and are quoted room by room.
Do you offer trade pricing on furniture and textiles?
Yes. The studio holds trade accounts with more than seventeen premium furniture, lighting, and textile houses, along with workroom relationships for custom upholstery and drapery. Pricing structure and any applicable markup are disclosed in writing before contract, so there are no surprises at procurement.
Can you furnish a home remotely if I am relocating to Charlotte?
Frequently. Relocating clients are among the most common furnishing commissions — we work from plans and site photography, present selections by video, and complete the full installation before arrival so the residence is finished on move-in day.
How do you handle delivery, receiving, and damaged pieces?
Every item ships to a dedicated receiving warehouse, is inspected and logged on arrival, and is held until the full order is complete. Damaged or incorrect pieces are claimed and replaced before installation day rather than discovered in your living room.
