The Galley in Charlotte, NC

A kitchen should feel considered in the moments you use it most: rinsing vegetables, making dinner, setting out food for friends, and putting everything back where it belongs. The Galley invites you to think about those moments together. Emerald & Oak is a Charlotte interior design studio and direct retail source for The Galley Dresser. We help homeowners begin the product conversation with the room in mind—its proportions, materials, storage needs, and relationship to the rest of the home. We welcome inquiries from Charlotte and throughout North Carolina and South Carolina. The Workstation is the functional sink system. The Tap is the coordinating faucet offering. The Dresser brings the Workstation into a piece of kitchen furniture with its own exterior design and interior organization. Understanding these roles makes it easier to ask for the right product and compare a complete proposal. If you have seen a photograph of a beautifully finished cabinet with a Galley basin above it, start with the Dresser. If you are exploring how a workstation sink changes preparation and cleanup, begin with our Workstation guide. If you are already planning the Dresser, review faucet placement and the details that need to be coordinated before fabrication. You may already have a builder, architect, kitchen designer, or cabinetmaker. You may also be early in the process and trying to decide what deserves a place in the project. Either way, tell us where you are starting. For a Dresser inquiry, useful information includes your project city, an approximate available width, your preferred finish direction, and the point at which cabinetry or countertops must be finalized. A drawing is helpful, but an initial question does not need a complete set of construction documents. The right product should support the room, not become an isolated selection. Consider its scale from the adjoining living area. Think about what is visible when the kitchen is in use. Look at how the cabinetry, stone, flooring, and metals relate to one another. If your project calls for a broader design engagement, explore our kitchen and bath design services. If your immediate need is a Dresser purchase, use our product inquiry form so that your request reaches the right conversation. Emerald & Oak is based in Charlotte. Homeowners elsewhere in the Carolinas can start by sharing their project location and purchasing needs. We will discuss the next step and confirm the arrangements that apply to that project before an order is placed.
