Families who intend to stay in the house, who have an unusual condition to solve, and whose calendar can absorb drawing and workroom lead times.

Do I need a big budget for bespoke design?

You need a budget appropriate to the scope, and scope is what you control. A single drawn banquette in an otherwise bought room is bespoke design used well.

What if I change my mind mid-project?

Changes are normal; timing determines their cost. A change before shop drawings are approved is a redline; a change after fabrication has started is a new piece.

Can I start bespoke partway through a build?

Yes, but earlier is better. Once framing and rough-in are set, lighting positions, ceiling details, and built-in depths are largely fixed.
