Luxury Home Office Design
The home office has been permanently elevated to one of the most important rooms in the luxury home — a space of daily consequence for executives and creative professionals.
At Emerald & Oak Design, Miriam Peters designs home offices that honor the seriousness of the work conducted within them while maintaining residential warmth. The best home offices feel like studies in a distinguished residence.
Layout for Focus and Function
Emerald & Oak develops layouts based on workflow analysis: positioning the desk for optimal natural light without screen glare, providing secondary seating, and ensuring technology is accessible without cluttering the work surface.
Built-In Library and Storage
Custom built-in cabinetry defines the luxury home office. Floor-to-ceiling bookcases, closed cabinetry below, integrated cable management, and adjustable shelving — all designed with attention to proportion and material quality.
Lighting for Long Work Sessions
Emerald & Oak designs office lighting with task-specific layers: adjustable desk lighting, comfortable ambient illumination, and accent lighting that prevents the room from feeling clinical while maximizing natural daylight.
Video Conference Design
Emerald & Oak designs office backgrounds specifically for on-screen appearance — ensuring professional credibility through thoughtful wall treatments, shelf styling, and front-facing lighting that flatters the occupant.
