Tega Cay occupies a peninsula on Lake Wylie in York County, roughly twenty-five minutes from SouthPark and adjacent to Fort Mill. Its houses range from established 1990s lake homes to recent custom construction on the remaining water lots, and nearly all of them are organized around the same thing: the view west across the water.
Do you work in South Carolina as well as North Carolina?
Yes. Tega Cay, Fort Mill, and the wider Lake Wylie shoreline are part of our regular service area, worked from our SouthPark studio in Charlotte.
How is designing a lake house different from a city house?
Light and durability drive most of the decisions. West-facing glass means heavy afternoon sun, so textiles, stone finishes, and window treatments are chosen for fade and glare. Indoor-outdoor traffic means flooring and upholstery are specified for real wear, and storage planning matters far more than in a comparable inland house.
Can you furnish a lake house before we move in?
Yes. Whole-home furnishing is delivered as a single coordinated installation after goods have been received and inspected, so the house is complete on the day you arrive rather than assembled over months.
Do you have an office in Tega Cay?
